My whole purpose with the Rally X EP was to make a sort of return to sampling but this time around having micro sampled it all
Drawing a lot of inspiration from Todd Edwards I decided to stick with that theme and make each track a collage of chopped madness with some shuffling beats nicely knit in
On some level my goal was to create whole new melodies using the micro samples in a way that the original sample was unrecognizable
The rally racing theme of the cover and title are rooted in my love and facsination of cars and Motorsport and I feel it reflects the high intensity cuts and bpms on this EP
Hope you guys enjoy and try some microsampling if you can as well!
